ABOUT

All Faiths Welcome!

Something about all faiths are welcome. I'm not fully sure yet on this as I need to look into what Libby can teach us about other religions.... or this could be a section about Hawaiian Culture instead if you want.

LGBTQ+

Something about being LGBTQ+ and how we don't give a fuck as long as it's love. I mean, no one is going to be any better than Ooboo but you can't hold that against people. Did you know that LGBTQ+Ooboo=Ooboo, because Ooboo said so, duh!

El título anterior también se puede cambiar si lo desea.
Esto ni siquiera es una descripción real porque estoy usando un traductor en línea y eso probablemente sea inexacto como una mierda.
Te amo y lo caliente que eres, tu alma es hermosa.
ANDREA QUENBY

ANDREA QUENBY

Born on California soil to Mexican parents, I've experienced firsthand how culture and love enriches life.
After traveling to various parts of the world, as well as living up and down the diverse Golden State (and a short stint in West Virginia), I've had the blessing of being able to live in new settings and learn from people of all backgrounds.

I've also witnessed and experienced the challenges that come with being born in one place but having my roots planted in another culture. What my life experiences have taught me always leads me to the same conclusion:
love ALWAYS prevails.

I choose to lead my life with love as my purpose - in the decisions that I make, the foods that I eat, the words that I speak; love is who we are. That is what brought me to beautiful Hawai'i Island, to live my life sharing the gift of love for couples who found the light of love in each other.

ANDREA QUENBY

This will be some text about the legend Andrea Quenby and how she's hot as a freshly baked pancake... mmmmm pancakes sound good... I guess pancakes aren't baked are they? But hey, a man can dream. What's the use in imagination if it doesn't come to life? I'm really hungry now, like full on hungry. I wish I had chocolate too because then I could just be a chocolate pig. I'd eat a chocolate pig as long as it was vegan.

ANDREA'S VISION

My vision for Weddings A La Heart has always simply been about celebrating love energy - it's the vibration that lifts our spirits, feeds our soul, and gives us life!
To be able to help others experience a ceremony that truly speaks from the heart is my ultimate goal.

Weddings A La Heart deeply respects the land we are on in Hawai'i by incorporating Hawaiian blessings and traditions for your ceremony. My vision is to always remember and honor the Hawaiian ancestors that cared for the land before us. The spirit of aloha radiates all around the islands and can be felt energetically on your special day.

"The reason I exist is to love myself, love others,
and to love and care for Mother Earth."

MY OWN LOVE STORY

Little did I know what the Universe had in the works for me when I started to receive intuitive urges to take a solo trip to the Amazon Rainforest in Peru.
As it always goes when we follow our hearts and honor our intuition, the trip changed the course of my entire life!

I ended up meeting an Englishman named Kyle on this soul searching journey, and by the end of our time in Peru, we made a strong connection and decided to continue communication. Despite Kyle living in England and me living in California, we made our relationship work as our love continued to grow for one another and we got married in 2018.

Another intuitive decision that we both honored was deciding to get married in the rainforest on Hawai'i Island. This is how we found Weddings A La Heart and met Reverend Libby and asked her to officiate our wedding ceremony.
We kept in touch after our wedding and are now the proud new owners of Weddings A La Heart.
I am honored to be the second generation of this heartfelt company, I will continue to foster the foundation that Reverend Libby set for love as the vision and purpose for many years to come.

REVEREND LIBBY
TAO KELSON-FULCHER, D.D.

Libby was the founder of Weddings A La Heart in 1991 and one of the first female ministers in Kailua-Kona, Hawai'i.
she has since retired and passed on the business. She envisioned Weddings A La Heart in 1989 when her intuition told her there was a need for heartfelt ceremonies.

"I was newly arrived on The Big Island from Maui and was walking down Ali’I Drive taking in the sights. I stepped into a church to look around and it happened that a wedding was taking place. I saw a lone bride walking down the long aisle and her groom waiting for her at the other end. Nobody else was there, there were no flowers or leis and the Pastor’s voice was booming from above in the empty Church. It all felt so cold to me somehow, and I wondered if the traditional words were even understood by the couple as they were from another country.

In that moment the thought came that I could create wedding ceremonies that would touch peoples’ hearts and have meaning specifically for them. And as those inspired aha moments tend to come, they do so with an energy that says “Yes!! That’s it!! I want to do this!” And this is how it all started.  I learned as I went along, with great heart, purpose, and enthusiasm. Weddings A La Heart emerged over the years as a result.“

"I feel that life is a mystery to be lived. The more your heart is involved in your day-to-day life and the more you let love inspire you, the more vibrant and fulfilling life will be."
