Weddings A La Heart was envisioned in 1989.  It is a creative, hands-on wedding company providing full professional wedding services to the Big Island of Hawaii and to the neighboring islands upon request.  Rev Libby, the creator of Weddings A La Heart, was one of the first women ministers in Kona  She is also the first to also arrange all customized services in addition to creating and performing the special ceremonies we offer.  A one-stop service was innovative and new then.  We still offer our wholehearted service and we still custom-design along with a few unique packages.

We are the Wedding Specialists and our forte is that we give very personalized and conscious service to all our couples.  We individually create wedding ceremonies and all the elements that will beautifully enhance a wedding.

The qualities that characterize us -- evident in all our events -- are care and attention to the bride and groom and to details.  We hold a vision of elegance even in simple situations and retain a relaxed, loving ambiance of aloha.

All (or no) denominations are welcome.  We perform Romantic, Spiritual, Contemporary to Traditional Wedding Ceremonies, Jewish Style Weddings, Renewal of Vows and Commitment Ceremonies.  Also meaningful Memorial Services, Scattering of Ashes at Sea and Blessing Ceremonies for Home, Business and Property are performed.

Weddings A La Heart was featured in the Nov/Dec 2001 issue of Hawaii Magazine,  We contributed to many well-written and very interesting articles on different wedding traditions and we were written up and commended in Frommer's Travel Magazine.  We are currently being recommended on MSNBC.com and in several wedding books now on the shelves.
